IT DOESN'T SETTLE

That's the whole point.

Cleaner. Greener. Smarter.

How it works

01

Ready to use

No shaking, no mixing. Open and spray.

02

Stable spray pattern

Coating architecture keeps pigment in suspension, from container to grass blade.

03

Match-ready faster

Faster drying, less downtime before the match.

Performance starts with behaviour

We all know this.

Paint settles. It needs to be shaken. There’s always residue left in the jerrycan. Nozzles get clogged.

And somehow… we’ve accepted this as part of the job.

But what if it’s not?

Paint residue left in traditional jerrycans

Common problems with traditional coatings

01

Sediment forming in jerrycans

02

Shaking and mixing before use

03

Clogged spray nozzles and filters

04

Unstable spray behaviour

05

Inconsistent line quality

06

Slow drying before matches

These are not machine issues.
They are not user errors.
They are coating issues.
And they always have been.

EX E-volution coatings are engineered differently.
Because performance starts long before the line is drawn.

Structural coating architecture

EX E-volution coatings are built on controlled rheology and thixotropic structure.

At rest, the internal structure keeps pigments evenly suspended, preventing sedimentation during storage.

During spraying, the structure temporarily opens, allowing stable atomisation and uniform micro-film formation.

Once the coating reaches the grass blade, the internal structure rebuilds again.

Instead of running down the grass blade, pigments remain evenly distributed, forming a uniform coating around the leaf surface.

This prevents the greyish appearance often seen with traditional water-thin coatings where pigments slide downward before drying.

Thixotropic behaviour

Coating architecture controls performance from storage to the grass blade itself.

What coating stability means in practice

For field professionals, coating architecture translates directly into operational benefits.

When a coating stays stable, everything in daily marking becomes simpler.

Less preparation.
Less correction.
More consistency.

This is where coating design directly impacts daily field performance.

A game-changer in coating stability

Traditional turf coatings separate during storage. Within weeks or months pigments settle at the bottom of containers.

EX E-volution coatings are engineered for long-term structural stability.

The formulation keeps pigments evenly suspended for up to:

24 months of shelf life

  • No shaking
  • No mixing
  • No sediment removal
  • No nozzle clogging
BIB packaging versus traditional jerrycans

For many professionals in the field, this level of stability changes the entire workflow of field marking.

This is what stability looks in the field

Groundskeeper applying EX E-volution line marking

For professionals, coating stability is not a concept.
It’s something you experience, every day.

“For the first time in my career,
I can use the complete jerrycan.”

– Luke Russell,

Head Groundsman at OHL.

No shaking.
No residue.
No product loss.

This is what coating stability delivers in practice.

This didn’t start today

As early as 2002, Expo-Line introduced bulk tank systems to move away from inefficient small packaging.

A first step towards system thinking.

But the market evolved.
Lower consumption.
Greater flexibility.
Higher expectations on logistics and sustainability.

We were solving this before the market recognised the problem.

EX E-volution is the next step.

From volume efficiency
to structural efficiency.

Expo-Line bulk tank and BIB system

The problem didn’t disappear. It changed form.

Circular packaging starts with coating stability

Circular packaging cannot function properly with unstable coatings.

When pigments settle inside containers, part of the product becomes unusable.

Stable coating architecture solves this problem.

By keeping pigments evenly suspended and usable until the last drop, EX E-volution coatings enable:

24

months shelf life

Every drop applied to the field. No residue left in containers.

0%

Chemical waste

No pigment residue discarded with packaging.

-90%

Fewer plastic containers

BIB system replaces traditional jerrycans.

-50%

Transport reduction

Less weight. Fewer shipments. Lower footprint.

Circular packaging does not start with packaging.

It starts with the coating.

Developed from decades of formulation expertise

EX E-volution coatings are the result of decades of formulation development in professional
turf marking systems.

By combining coating science with real-world field experience, EX E-volution introduces a new
category in sports field marking: structural turf coatings.
