Why change is needed

Modern sports fields are under more pressure than ever. Clubs, municipalities and federations need line marking that is faster, more sustainable and easier to manage, season after season.

Traditional solutions no longer match that reality: rising costs, fewer volunteers, strict environmental rules, oxidation and waste with IBCs, high paint consumption and unreliable field quality.

The smart alternative that solves it all, with lower use, less hassle and cleaner work designed as one connected system for modern grounds teams now: Brilliant Performance + BIB + E-Marker.

What the EX future means

We design and deliver a complete field marking ecosystem built for the future. From ultra-stable, low-consumption paint to electric precision marking, circular BiB packaging and data-driven planning, every EX component is engineered to make lines cleaner, greener and smarter.

With the E-Marker, Brilliant Performance paint, the circular BiB system and real-time insights, EX makes every pitch more sustainable, consistent, faster to prepare and more affordable to maintain. EX is not a small upgrade, but the evolution of field marking: healthy grass, less work and lower cost.

A complete ecosystem —
not just a line marking machine

Technology only delivers when every component is connected.
EX E-Volution is not just an E-Marker, it is a smart ecosystem that manages your entire line marking process from paint logistics to data.

  • Circular BIB packaging: closed loop boxes with no waste, no oxidation and consistently fresh paint for every game.
  • Brilliant Performance paint: ultra stable, low consumption, always ready to use, no mixing required for pro level results.
  • E-Marker: electric precision line marker with digital pressure control for constant, sharp lines on natural and hybrid pitches.
  • Data monitoring: real time insight into paint usage, costs and seasonal planning, supporting better budgeting and maintenance decisions.

Better lines. Less work. Lower cost. Smaller footprint.

About EX

EX Evolution Bag-in-Box system for circular and sustainable line marking paint handling

Cleaner, Greener and Smarter way to work with paint.

The BIB system replaces traditional cans and IBCs with a circular, closed packaging solution that cuts waste and keeps paint in ideal condition. The flexible inner bag blocks air from entering, so paint does not oxidise, does not settle and stays ready to use. It also reduces plastic usage and lowers transport volume by up to forty percent, making storage and logistics easier for clubs and municipalities of every size.

Because the paint stays sealed until the moment it is used, grounds teams can work cleaner and faster with no heavy lifting, no splashing and almost no leftover residue. Combined with EX Performance Paints and the E-Marker, the BIB system becomes the core of a low-consumption, turf-friendly workflow that delivers consistent results on every pitch.

Expo-Line line marking paint containers showing Standard, High and Brilliant Performance options

Our Performance Paints are developed to deliver clear, bright, professional lines on every field. The formula dries quickly, flows smoothly and will not clog, clump or create sediment. This keeps line marking reliable with minimal maintenance, no matter who operates the machine or where it is used.

The paint provides strong coverage while staying gentle and breathable for natural grass. With an average consumption of just 3 to 5 litres per pitch, grounds teams can work efficiently and reduce the amount of paint they need to transport, mix or refill. Fewer refills mean less interruption and more focus on preparing the field.

Lower paint usage means lower running costs and less time spent rinsing, remixing or cleaning equipment. Performance Paints help you create a consistent standard of quality across training grounds, match pitches and multi-sport complexes, season after season.

EX Evolution E-Marker electric line marking machine with modular boxes

The E-Marker is more than a line marking machine. It brings 30 years of field experience into one system for users who want precision, comfort and reliability. Designed to make line marking Cleaner, Greener, Smarter, every detail reflects matchday needs, from line quality to easy handling.

The E-Marker delivers CLEANER and GREENER results with stainless-steel nozzles that spray sharp lines and a closed pump circuit that keeps air out, prevents clogging and limits product loss. Cleaning takes moments with little wasted paint. Using up to half the paint of traditional systems and combined with EX Performance paints, it stays turf-safe and dries quickly in wet weather.

The E-Marker is also SMARTER for grounds teams: a wide wheelbase, low centre of gravity and large wheels keep it stable to steer, while pump and battery units swap in seconds so every crew stays ready for the next pitch.

EX Evolution modular E-Box system with battery, pump and spare-part cases

Smart power and performance in one modular E-Box system.

E-Boxes keep the EX system and the E-Marker running smoothly, with modules built for quick swapping and maximum uptime so grounds teams finish every pitch without interruptions.

  • Battery Box: powers the E-Marker with stable, consistent output every line.

  • Pump Box: delivers a reliable spray pattern with constant pressure from the first metre to the last.

  • Spare-Part Box: provides an instant backup on long workdays or in unplanned moments, so you switch and continue instead of stopping for repairs.

Each box swaps in seconds, without tools or a technician. This modular design cuts downtime, extends machine life and keeps maintenance simple, so you stay in control of uptime, consistency and total cost of ownership.

Our Brand Story

Created on the field. Built for the field.

Expo-Line was born on the pitch, not in a boardroom. From day one, our focus has been clear: better lines, better fields, better sport. Every innovation we’ve introduced started with real challenges faced by grounds teams, not theoretical ideas or corporate trends.

Over the years, that hands-on approach shaped who we are. It drove us to develop smarter paints, more precise marking machines and practical solutions that make everyday work faster, cleaner and more consistent.

EX E-Volution is the next step in that story: an ecosystem built from experience, refined through constant feedback, and created for the people who live and work on the field every day.

FAQ

The EX system is modular. Battery, pump and service E-Boxes can be swapped in seconds without tools or a technician. Keeping a spare on hand minimizes downtime and keeps service simple, predictable and affordable for your organisation.

The E-Marker uses a closed pump system and stainless-steel nozzle, so routine maintenance is minimal. A short quick rinse after use is usually enough. If a pump or battery wears out, you simply replace the E-Box instead of sending the machine in for repair.

Yes. EX Performance Paints are formulated specifically for natural turf. They do not burn, yellow or dehydrate the grass and are permeable enough to let the surface breathe, keeping pitches playable while the turf stays healthy over time.

No. The closed BIB system and non-sedimenting formula keep the paint homogeneous during storage and use. Field maintenance teams simply connect the bag, start the E-Marker and can focus on line marking instead of lifting, shaking or mixing containers.

Under normal conditions, Brilliant Performance dries within minutes. Lines are ready for use shortly after application and remain bright and visible even in damp morning conditions, light rain or humid weather, making matchday planning easier.

With the E-Marker and EX Performance Paints, most natural grass pitches can be marked with around 3 to 5 litres. Actual usage depends on grass type, length and weather, but this is often fifty percent less than with traditional systems.
